Project 365- Day 1

I have struggled for 3 years on what to do with this blog. I originally created it as a way to strengthen my writing skills.

That didn't happen. 

I finally accepted why that hasn't happened. I don't enjoy writing. I'm a storyteller. I like to tell people stories or share moments that tell a story. 

I'm not good with words. 

So I'm switching gears a bit. Instead of writing, I'm going to capture a photo every day for one year. Yep, 365 moments. And at the end of that year, I'll be able to look back at the story that unfolded. 

Today is the only day that I will write a post. The rest of the days will just be moments captured. It may look interesting, it may be boring, it just might not make any sense.

Life is funny like that. 

Today is the only day that will include a selfie. Seems to be the proper thing to do. 

The rest of the moments will be seen through the lens of afergi. 

Happy New Year! (that's an inside joke between my best friend and I). It isn't January 1, silly.
